November 10, 2009 - With great regret, Total Secure Shredding, Inc. has given 30 days notice to disengage from its Document Shredding Contract with the University of California, San Diego (UCSD). Total Secure Shredding CEO, Disabled Veteran, and UCSD Alumni, Mike Krauss, noted that "After almost two years as a 'Preferred Vendor', it saddens me that my Alma Mater has yet to live up to even the smallest percentage of this proposed six figure contract." Total Secure Shredding, Inc. apologizes to the handful of UCSD Departments that decided to choose our services. However, continued service at the contracted price and volume is not economically viable. Since the contract does not limit UCSD Departments in exclusivity to "Preferred Vendors", Total Secure Shredding will continue to reach out to individual departments that would like to develop a relationship with a UCSD Alumni Vendor.
