Memorial Day Closures…

You Have My Permission Not to Shred This Weekend!

We will be closed Saturday May 29th and Monday May 31st in honor of Memorial Day.

I apologize for any inconvenience… But if you were planning to get all your shredding done this weekend, you have my permission to put it aside and enjoy this long weekend – I know I will!

But… Since I have you here and since we are talking about Memorial Day… I want to tell you about a fundraiser I have coming up.

On Saturday June 19th, Total Secure Shredding is partnering up with the Elks Lodge of Poway to put on a Shred Day raising money for the Poway Veterans Park.

The City of Poway has donated the land and $300,000 toward the creation of this one of a kind park that will remember veterans past, present, and future.

Some great local companies have already stepped up to donate $35,000 of the remaining $75,000 needed for upkeep and to implement some additional really cool features to the park.

That leaves an additional $40,000 for the Elks and other Veteran Groups in the area to raise.

So if you’re in the Poway/North County area and  have some documents and paper that have been sitting around and you’ve been planning to come down to our facility for shredding, I ask you to wait a few more weeks and stop on by the Elks Lodge on June 19th to get shredded.

I’ll have my high speed shredding truck down there so you can watch everything get shredded while you wait.

I’m also working on getting a few of my other Disabled Veteran Shredding Business Owners down there with their trucks so that there will be very limited waiting and so we are sure you can get in.

Total Secure Shredding is completely volunteering our trucks to this effort so we won’t be getting paid anything.

So why am I doing this…

Simple, I’m a Disabled Vet and when another disabled vet calls me and needs some help, I’m going to do everything I can to lend a hand.

If you’re in North County, do me a favor and hold on to that box of papers and come out to support the Poway Veterans Park.
